It is a very cosy place, with very friendly people. Beware to contact the host Gerino by phone or email, and he will be there when you arrive. It is 10 min walk from the station, an old 1920's house, and only a small sign will let you know, that you are there. Gerino has a statement that we are not clients, but guests, and he will treat us as such. We can verify that there's action behind the words. We where blessed to stay with him, as our daughter got an eyeproblem on our 2nd day, and he arranged an appointment with a doctor, helped us get there, and was a suberb translator for us in addition. Very few sicilians speak english, and his is excellent, which I think was our rescue, together with his good heart. We asked for his advice in many matters, and can also say, that everything he said proved true, from places to eat, to visit, and much more. We warmly recommend this wonderful host, and his very cosy B&B, we had a very enjoyable week there.

Large room
Trouble checking into the room. No answer to the doorbell and telephone number provided didn't work. Sat on the street for an hour waiting for the owner to return.

The over all experience was very warm and comforting. La Casa Di Zoe felt like a home away from home. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, the Wi Fi was very fast. The breakfast had a very good spread with a care taker to help us with our needs. The people running La Casa Di Zoe are very warm and welcoming. The location was perfect, all important areas including stations were about 5 minutes away. We will certainly stay there the next time we go.

Nice decor and rooms are clean.
This B& B is located on the 3rd floor and, although there is a lift, the stairs could be a problem for some. Also, the busy street in the downtown area is very noisy.

Excellent service from arrival to departure. The hotel is in the best location for sights and shops, close enough to walk to the station for the bus to the airport (45 minutes for 8 euro) but in a safe area to walk after dark. High class shops are situated nearby, the market areas are within easy walking distance. The sights and churches of Palermo are spectacular, Palermo is a compact city and the hotel is in the heart of the old town for viewing. A regular bus can be taken to the beach at Mondello, 1/2 an hour to a very nice beach. Hotel is very clean, traditional furniture and comfortable. It is on the third floor so away from street noise, with large shuttered windows looking across the rooftops. Breakfast very nice, prepared on site by Maria. We will go back to visit again.
Bathrooms are across the corridor but the hotel is small and so this was not a problem.

Old style of the apartment was very endearing - from the old style lift to the shuttered windows. This place is very centrally located, and also close to the main station
When we arrived in the early afternoon of Sunday, there was no response when we rang the doorbell. There was nobody there, so we had to make contact by phone. The call was returned fairly quickly, and the owner was able t provide us with access remotely

The two room suite was very spacious and comfortable. The hotel has a funky charm, with an old fashioned cage elevator and original and unrestored architectural details, that is antithesis of sterile, modern hotels.
The bathroom, though private, was down the hall, which was a minor inconvenience.

large louvre window - many original features. Very wellcoming resonse from father and son proprietors. Comfortable. Great central location only 10 minutes walk from central station.
None really - except would have liked some fresh local bread for breakfast as alternative to sweet pastries.

What a great experience. I felt as if I were visiting family, not staying at a hotel. The hotel owner and his son were very kind and welcoming. The restaurants they recommended had some of the best food ever. Very pleased with the trip, and looking forward to going back again.
